African Heavy Infantry
Libyan Heavy Infantry in Carthaginian service, using one pose from Newline Designs' African close order foot. Instead of using the Hoplite shield provided I decided to use the Early Roman Hoplite shield, for the embossed shield design. The fourth picture down is the first unit of these figures I attempted and have a slightly darker paint scheme.

African Elephants
Elephants by Newline Design. I have some more Carthaginian elephants with towers and Macedonian and Successor elephants. These elephants were fairly simple to paint and assemble I found.

Third Unit of Veterans
This is the third unit of African Veterans I have finished so far. The plan is to have another unit in this pose, shield and colour scheme. I previously mentioned the Units of Veterans with Hoplite shields which will consist of two units one of each pose. The future Immitation Legionarries I am planning will consist of four units with swords that will be given Greek style Thureos shields.

Hannibal's African Veterans
This is the first unit of Libyan Veterans with captured Roman arms by Newline Designs. I really like these figures and ordered quite a lot. I intend to paint units with different shields and will have far too many veterans than any army list would permit. I am currently working on a couple of units of veterans with Greek style Hoplite shields, and in the future will give a unit some spanish Scutum shields. Another future project using these figures will be to create Hellenistic Immitation Legions such as the Seleucid Silvershields equiped in the Roman Manner.
